Bernadette established Compass Housing Services in 2015. She has a background in urban planning and social science and has an established track record in planning housing and neighbourhoods in greenfield and brownfield developments for over 12 years in Australia and New Zealand.
More recently she has been in involved in planning new social housing in NZ and shares her experience of managing the differing expectations of investors, developers, private residents and social housing residents.
Bernadette has a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Sydney University and a PhD completed through City Futures Research Centre at University of New South Wales.

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced building manager to manage a new iconic, residential development in the heart of Glen Eden. This six-star Lifemark development, comprises two towers with a mix of one-and-two-bedroom apartments and townhouses. The 173-unit development includes private, kiwi build and community housing residents. Ninety units are allocated for community housing with the aim of providing affordable housing for those in need of warm, dry, secure affordable housing.

This role does require on-call and some weekend work.
