Compass Housing Services NZ is actively engaged in the COVID-19 National State of Emergency and taking steps to help keep our communities safe. 

Our tenants have an important role to play by minimising contact between people to limit the spread of this virus.

The government require self-isolating in properties, keeping your 1.5m social distance in common areas and preventing the spread of the virus through good hygiene.

We will continue to make regular telephone calls to each tenant to check on their welfare. However as directed by the government our staff will no longer be making visits to site.

Urgent and emergency repair work will continue to be delivered; however, extra precautions are in place when maintenance contractors attend. Please ensure you let them know if you are feeling unwell and keep a social distance of at least 1.5m.

  • The after hours call centre 0800-100-975 is working as normal.

  • Supermarkets Countdown and New World are able to deliver groceries to your door via online shopping. Talk to friends or family or call us to help you set this up. 

  • Pharmacies remain open also, so please contact your local pharmacy to determine how best to receive your medication.

At this time of uncertainty it’s important to look after our  mental health. It’s completely normal to be feeling a range of emotions at this time, including being worried, anxious or scared.
